Oh What a Day!
You know what? It was raining today.
Rain, Rain, I thought of seeing you,
Were you the reason behind her precious smiles?
Or were you the aid that helped her hide the tears that she had been carrying for miles?

You remind me of a feeling so clichéd,
Love-it is what they say!
I just feel somehow that you are both connected,
Because it is always, that my thoughts, to you two, are directed.

It’s breezy, fresh, relaxed and cool,
She was calm, subtle, happy and in full bloom.
It’s then when she heard the lightning screaming and the heavens drooling,
That she realised the nature was definitely callous.
She had a curve-the most beautiful one-on her face,
When she saw the droplets playing the game of race…
She was reminded of a time when she could feel it all,
She was reminded of the rise and the fall,
She was reminded of the happiness and the misery of it all,
She was reminded of love and she was reminded of fate.

She embraced the rain,
It felt as if the drops consumed her,
But I couldn’t understand,
Was she happy or was she just trying to stand?
Trying to get up from that wheelchair on which, she had been resting since seven years or trying to conquer and get over her own loss.

She was a Winner,
She will always be one!
She felt the love and the pain,
She saw the beauty and the drain,
She saw him go so far away,
To a destination which she wasn’t invited to,
The Lord didn’t let her come,
Breaking her promise of a Forever,
She became Numb.
None was her mistake,
But it was raining and love took a beautiful turn,
She was smiling with tears in her eyes,
She missed him and she Loved him.

So oh Dear Rain,
Tell me one thing,
Is that what you always do?
Were you the reason behind her precious smile?
Or were you the aid that helped her hide the tears that she had been carrying for miles and miles…?
