Project Nawah
India is one of the biggest plastic polluters globally and stimulates an annual waste generation of over 15 million tons of plastic. Amidst the surging industrialization in the country, various towns and villages are being turned into dumping grounds by the developing stations. This curtails the scope of advancement, therefore, causing an increased scarcity of livelihood opportunities. The inhabitants are compelled to migrate to modern cities in search of employment.
In the past few years, we have seen the problems related to health and sanitation magnifying to a large extent, harming the living beings and nature itself. Majority of the country’s population has been inconsiderate and incautious about the constant rise in health issues and death rates. Inappropriate practises like open defecation, improper waste management and excessive use of plastic are still prevalent in our society.
Project Vidyut paves the way for a cleaner and more efficient future, reliant on renewable sources of energy by establishing biogas units which supply biogas to rural households and produce manure as a by-product. The simple aim behind this project was to provide an alternative source of energy, which is both environmentally friendly and offsets the high dependency on fossil fuels.
Project Aahar was conceptualized with the philosophy of healthy and hygienic food for all. Through Aahar, we aim at providing a platform to migrant workers.
